Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Standard

Book 1

Novel Summation:

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen – and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

My Thoughts:

Let me just say angels are the new vampires. I loved this book. It was really cute. I though there could be some more love scenes and a stronger romatic build up instead of an apparent connection but still good. This book was so good that I spent 6 hours straight reading the book. The plot was interesting, really creative and different. I’ve read only one other book that involved an angel and it didn’t even come close to the quality of this book. I was constantly trying to figure out who was doing what, who was each person. Were they angels, demons, archangels, etc. Ohh I can’t get over how much I loved this book. The concept of angels excited me (after watching Supernatural so much). This book was such an enjoyment and I recommend it to all. It was another somewhat hyped about book but this one met my expectations. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Future Books

The next book is called Crescendo followed by Silence (Oct 2011)

Movie Connections

I think a movie wouldn’t be a bad idea.
