Book 3 (Book 1: Evermore, Book 2: Blue Moon)

But just when their long-awaited destiny is finally within reach, a powerful curse falls upon Damen…one that could destroy everything. Now a single touch of their hands or a soft brush of their lips could mean sudden death-plunging Damen into the Shadowland. Desperate to break the curse and save Damen, Ever immerses herself in magick-and gets help from an unexpected source…a surfer named Jude. Although she and Jude have only just met, he feels startlingly familiar. Despite her fierce loyalty to Damen, Ever is drawn to Jude, a green-eyed golden boy with magical talents and a mysterious past. She’s always believed Damen to be her soulmate and one true love-and she still believes it to be true. But as Damen pulls away to save them, Ever’s connection with Jude grows stronger-and tests her love for Damen like never before…
Wow. This book was interesting. The first book in the series introduced a whole new exciting world. The second book introduced a sad, cruel fate for Ever and Damen. The third book seemed to just add more to the complicated life of the two lovers. Compared to the other books in the series, I felt this one was very pessimistic and had a depressing vibe. Don’t get me wrong, it was interesting and full of new information, but still a solution to Ever and Damens problem was never found. Instead more complications occurred. In this book a new character is introduced named Jude. His character is refreshing and is a nice addition to the series. As a character himself his story is fascinating and adds a lot but when it came to the moments of his interactions with the characters it seemed kind of toned down. It wasn’t as epic as I felt it should have been. Characters from the previous books, Roman, Miles, and Haven seemed to lack attention or were just plot fillers. I try to avoid spoiling to much about books in a series therefore I have refrained about talking about the plot in too much detail. I would definetely recommend this series to anyone who is interested in fantasy.
The next book is called Dark Flame
