Book 5 (Book 1: Wicked Lovely, Book 2: Ink Exchange, Book 3: Fragile Eternity, Book 4: Radiant Shadows)

Novel Summation:

The Summer King is missing; the Dark Court is bleeding; and a deadly stranger walks the streets of Huntsdale. . . . Aislinn tends to the Summer Court, searching for her absent king and yearning for Seth. Torn between his new queen and his old love, Keenan braces for the coming war. Donia longs for fiery passion and readies the Winter Court for battle. And Seth, heir to the High Queen, is about to make a mistake that could cost his life

My Thoughts:

This book was enjoyable. The world created is fascinating and intriguing. Everyone from the previous books makes an appearance which was refreshing. Also, the world outside the courts was explored a little which was really nice to see. We are introduced to some new characters as well. Such as solidary fey and to death fey. A lot of the plot became predicable for me at least half way through mostly because it was the only way for there to be a happy ending. Which is exactly what the book delivers. In the end everyone seems happy and everything is right in the world of Faerie. Everyone plays a role. The multiple perspectives in which Melissa Marr writes paint a big picture for the world of Faerie. We understand everyone and can enjoy everyone equally. I would recommend this series to everyone.
